Brett Bucheit 's Bio
Attorney Brett Buchheit received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut in 1997. Due to his scholastic achievements, Mr. Buchheit was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Mr. Buchheit joined the U.S. Peace Corps in 1998. While stationed in Morocco, Mr. Buchheit oversaw a large-scale reforestation and sustainable agriculture project. After he returned to the United States, Mr. Buchheit embarked on a solo cycling trip from Connecticut to California. In 2003, Mr. Buchheit began attending law school in Virginia. While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Buchheit served as an editor of the Natural Resources Law Journal. He also received several scholastic and community service awards.
Mr. Buchheit was accepted into Tulane University’s prestigious Energy & Environmental Law LLM program in 2007, while at Tulane, Mr. Buchheit wrote numerous law review articles which were published both nationally and internationally. In 2008, Mr. Buchheit became licensed to practice law in Colorado. He opened his own law firm in 2010. His practice areas involve complex civil litigation, businesses formation, and counseling technology-based companies.In his free time.
Mr. Buchheit enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, fly-fishing, volunteering, and cycling.
Grant Hall's Bio
Grant Hall is Chief Executive Officer of Halkin with focus on coordination of division heads, business development, and strategic planning. In his current role, Grant negotiates 3rd party technology transfer, sets direction for internal technology improvement / expansion, participates in business development activities and market segment expansion, and oversees day-to-day business operations. His areas of expertise are facilities / building Analysis, critical and utility infrastructure inspection, energy savings project assessment / development, and project finance engineering.
Grant has worked in the energy project development sector for 20 years, where he has participated and led private and public capital raises for over $80 million in projects. While living in Washington DC, he was partner in a clean energy project development firm that spearheaded and developed a self-performing energy savings performance contract for the Washington DC Housing Authority with over $26 million in retrofit projects.
Grant was initially introduced to the Non-Destructive Testing and inspection industry when his family founded Halkin International in the early 80’s. As Director of Business Development, he developed and worked on complex inspection projects around the world, primarily on resource mining and petroleum refining operations.Grant attended the George Washington University with a focus on finance and international business. He also attended the Unversidad de Nebrisensis in Madrid, Spain. In his spare time, he loves to be with his family, including 2 daughters and a son.
James Anwar's Bio
James Anwar is Chief Technical Officer of Halkin.Inc.James has more than 18 years experience in GIS, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and CAD, to name a few.This includes collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geographic information provided by geodetic surveys aerial photographs and satellite data.
James is experienced in all phases of digital mapping, including, but not limited to, Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) collection, digital cross-sectioning for highway design and materials inventory, and digital planimetric and topographic data collection for GIS/LIS mapping applications.
James has worked for MOMRA (KSA), HANSA LUFITBUILD (GERMAN) AIR SURVEY, Unnamed Florida, USA, and AUAV, an Australia based drone company. As CTO of Halkin, James leads software development efforts of SeraPoint CUM 3D tiles from Drone Imagery. He also monitors SeraPoint’s Servers and coordinates server and transactional security. amendments. James has advanced diplomas in Draftman, Geography and Microstation.
James Lives with his 2 sons and 2 daughters and loving wife.
Ryan Hall's Bio
Ryan Hall is Chief Operating Officer, managing all field and reporting protocols.He oversees all permitting, licensing and certifying procedures. He has executed tactile methods to develop and build next generation UAS fleets and data collection vehicles for inspection and thermographic imaging. His certifications include thermographic imaging, coatings and corrosion inspector and visual NDT.
Ryan is a licensed FAA part 107 pilot and has extensive flight experience. He attended the school of Business Administration at Marquette University and has been working in the Industrial NDT industry for 25 years.
His inspection and certification services partnered with his Level II thermography certification and experience with Oil and Gas refining corporations and Transcontinental pipeline corporations provides a solid foundation for his ability to provide extremely detailed integrity analysis of multiple industrial asset classes.
His detailed knowledge of IR imagery give him the ability to accurately analyze the entire exterior of buildings and other structures for perforated seal leakage and moisture retention.
